```Don Toliver Frost Bank Center Concert reviews
I love Florence
Florence's voice is at the heart of the music. The cool summer night was a beautiful backdrop to the concert. It's so hard to resist her charm. Her impish qualities shine onstage when she addresses the crowd. Although Florence clearly has to adjust several songs to ease the strain on her voice, the power and emotion still comes through easily. Nestled within the hills of Griffith Park, one can easily forget that they are still inside one of the bigger sprawling metropolis' of the world. Don Toliver came out in a flowing red gown, she resembled a wood nymph from a renaissance painting, complete with a flower crown, courtesy of a devoted follower. Two new songs where introduced and they find Florence still exploring some of the same territory as we saw in Lungs, a bit more rock tinged and bombastic then her more soulful and bluesy sound. The night was clear, stars shining and a full set moon, perfect magical night! Coy, child like, yet witty and articulate, And then she begins to sing....Her soaring vocal range pierces through her bands clanging cacophony.
